A very warm welcome to Germany and especially to Greifswald!

As an international student you will face many different challenges besides the general problems of your studies. But the University of Greifswald is here to help you. With the support of its different institutions, the university offers a couple of things to make your stay in Greifswald as comfortable as possible. They also help you to get to know the German culture.

The organisation LEI also offers an exciting program and you might have already come across the “LEIlinge”, the members of this organisation. These are students from Greifswald, who are happy to help you with your studies and are there for you in case of any upcoming questions or problems. Additionally, they organise many cultural events to help you gain new experiences and to meet other students. These events include trips to Hamburg and Berlin or regular meetings with other international students at the mensaclub.
