Jokubas Salyga (Edinburg, TX): Mapping the Origins of Neoliberalism in Lithuania: Local Actors, Diaspora Intellectuals and Michigan Economists

Ringvorlesung

Jokubas Salyga is Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. His research focuses broadly on historical sociology and the political economy of capitalist development in East-Central Europe. He is particularly interested in post-communist transformations in the Baltic states, the origins and forms of resistance to neoliberal restructuring in East-Central Europe and the former Soviet Union, and concepts in historical materialism.
