Information about Data Protection
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. In accordance with the relevant data protection regulations, we have therefore listed details about the collection, processing and use of your data that has been transmitted with your application via email below.
Collection of Data
During the application process, we collect and process the following personal application details:
Surname, First Name(s)
Address
Telephone number
email
Application documents (cover letter, curriculum vitae (CV), certificates etc.)
Purpose of Data Collection / Transfer of Data
Your personal application details are only collected and processed for the hiring process within the University of Greifswald. Your details will only be relayed to those persons at the University of Greifswald who are involved in the respective application procedure. Your application details will not be used for any other purpose and not passed on to third parties.
Length of Storage for Application Details
Your personal application details will be deleted automatically three months after the end of the application procedure. This does not apply, if legal regulations prevent the deletion, further storage is required as evidence or you have specifically agreed to longer storage.
Storage for Future Job Vacancies
If we are currently unable to provide you with a job opening, but believe that your profile could be interesting for future job vacancies, we will store your personal application details for twelve months, as long as you have specifically agreed to the prolonged storage.
Data Security
We have introduced various technical and organisational measures to protect the data you have submitted along with your application from manipulation and unauthorised access. In particular, after receipt of your online application, it will only be handled in electronic form, which is secured with state-of-the-art technology.
Right to Demand Information and Withdrawal
