The University of Greifswald and the University of Michigan-Flint (UMF) started their partnership in 2018. Both universities strive to internationalise teacher-training degrees by implementing measures such as joint research and student exchange.

The first student mobility measure shall take place in June 2019 with a short-term exchange visit. From 9-21 June, a group of four students training to be teachers and two university lecturers will visit Greifswald to participate in the school project “Schule Machen” and attend university lectures and seminars. The visiting students will team up with German students to carry out research whilst putting their theoretical teaching skills into practice.
