Call for Entries to the DAAD Prize 2017

The University of Greifswald will award the DAAD Prize 2017 to an exceptional foreign student or doctoral candidate, who has distinguished him or herself through excellent academic achievements and notable social or intercultural activities.

 

The prize money amounts to € 1000. 

 

 

 

 

Requirements

  • You are a foreign student and enrolled at the University of Greifswald. 
  • You are studying for your degree mainly in Germany (no visiting or exchange students).  
  • You are at an advanced stage of your bachelor’s degree (at least 2nd year of study) or master’s degree (at least 2nd semester). 
  • You gain good marks and are involved in social activities.

Furthermore, young graduates (i.e. graduation is no longer than 3 months ago) and doctoral candidates can also receive the award. 

If you meet the requirements, send the following application documents to international.office(at)uni-greifswald(dot)de by the 31st October 2017: 

  • CV and motivation letter that outlines: Who you are and the role that you play at the University and in the town of Greifswald. 
  • Letter of support from a member of University teaching staff.

The DAAD Prize will be awarded at the International Winter Ball in January 2018.
