The Office of Quality Assurance

The Office of Quality Assurance (IQS) is responsible for establishing and maintaining a comprehensive, academic and scientifically-based and efficient system for quality assurance. To attain this goal, teaching staff and students are supported by the IQS for advancing the quality in studying and teaching and are encouraged to take part in evaluation and optimisation processes. Accordingly, the methods used by the Office of Quality Assurance (IQS) are orientated towards continual improvement and participation. The system accreditation, which was awarded to the University of Greifswald in 2015 (subject to conditions), is an outstanding seal of approval for the high level of quality of studying and teaching, which has already been achieved.
